In a bowl, combine the sliced lamb or beef with olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground paprika, salt, black pepper, and 1/4 cup yogurt. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the tomato paste and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the tomato sauce and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens. Set aside.
Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Cook the marinated meat in batches until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Set aside.
In the same skillet, lightly toast the cubed bread until crispy and golden brown. Set aside.
Place the toasted bread cubes on a serving platter.
Top with the cooked meat slices.
Pour the warm tomato sauce over the meat and bread.
Garnish with fresh parsley.
