Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 can (400 ml) coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients

Peel and slice the bananas. Set aside.

Cook the Bananas

In a medium pot, combine the coconut milk, water, sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.

Add the Bananas

Add the sliced bananas to the pot.

Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the bananas are tender and the flavors are well combined. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.

Serve

Remove from heat and let the Kat-Kat Banane cool slightly.
