Ingredients

  • 4 pounds beef ribs or steak cuts (such as ribeye or sirloin)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, minced garlic, paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt.

Rub the marinade all over the beef ribs or steak cuts, ensuring they are well-coated.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Grill the Asado

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Remove the meat from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.

Place the marinated beef on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes per side, or until the meat reaches your desired level of doneness. Use tongs to turn the meat to avoid piercing it.

For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches around 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare, 145°F (63°C) for medium, or 160°F (71°C) for well-done.

Serve

Once cooked, remove the meat from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
