Ingredients

  • For the Makalo:
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For Serving:
  • Fresh bread or pita
  • Fresh vegetables, such as cucumber and tomatoes (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Makalo

In a medium bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well.

Stir in the chopped dill and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Chill

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the Makalo for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Serve
