Cook the mixture for about 10-15 minutes, or until it thickens and starts to pull away from the sides of the pot. Stir frequently to ensure even cooking.
Transfer the Asida to a serving dish. Create a well in the center and drizzle with honey or date syrup.
Garnish with additional honey or date syrup if desired.
